The summer in Belgium is hard to find… So essence thought let’s create the summer ourselves. The new limited edition from essence is next stop summer. Whole this collection was all about getting tanned, sun protection and traveling. I really love the summer look and colors from all the products! But I was the most curious after the bronze & glow spray for face and body. But except that I also bought the sun protect lip conditioner and the matt blotting paper. So time for a review about these sunny products that will get you ready for the summer!
De zomer in België is toch moeilijk om te vinden… Dus essence dacht laten we de zomer zelf creëren. Deze nieuwe limited edition van essence is next stop summer. Heel deze collectie is helemaal over een kleurtje krijgen, je beschermen tegen de zon en natuurlijk reizen. En deze producten zien er allemaal super leuk en heerlijk zomers uit! Maar ik was zelf het meeste benieuwd naar de bronze & glow spray voor lichaam en gezicht. Ook kocht ik nog de sun protect lip conditioner en het matt blotting paper.
Sun protect lip conditioner // € 2,39
Something that I always forget to protect from the sun are my lips. So this product is for me very handy. This lip conditioner has SPF20 and smells a bit sweet and chemical. It has a light pink color and when you put it on your lips, your lips get a lighter color. It feels a little sticky. But it does protect my lips against the sun! It also makes my lips softer. All with all this is a handy product for protecting your lips. The packing is handy to take with you and is for sure summer proof!
Iets dat ik altijd vergeet te beschermen tegen de zon dat zijn mijn lippen. Dus voor mij is dit product zeker enorm handig! De lip conditioner heeft SPF 20 en ruikt een beetje zoet en chemisch. Dit heeft een licht roze kleur en wanneer je het aanbrengt maakt het je lippen iets lichter van kleur. Het voelt wel een beetje plakkerig aan. Maar het beschermt inderdaad mijn lippen tegen de zon! Het makkelijk mijn lippen ook iets zachter. Dus ik vind dit zeker een handig product om je lippen te beschermen. De verpakking is ook enorm handig om mee te nemen en is heerlijk summer proef!
Airbrush bronze & glow face and body // € 3,59
This spray must give your skin an instant sun bronze effect with a golden glow. Here is how it works: 1. shake it well before using 2. protect your clothing and hair 3. spray from a distance of 10 cm 4. let it dry before putting on your clothes. Very easy. So time to try… But unfortunately it wasn’t that easy how it looks. It’s hard to get a beautiful smooth effect. The first try it was to dark and full with stains. The second try you can see down below.
Deze spray moet je een instant gebronzeerd effect met een gouden glow geven. Zo werkt het: 1. schud dit product goed voor gebruik 2. bescherm je kleding en haar 3. spray het van een afstand van 10 cm 4. laat het even drogen voor je kleding aantrekt. Zeer makkelijk. Dus tijd om het te proberen… Maar jammer genoeg was dit niet zo makkelijk als ze lieten uitschijnen. Want het was zeer moeilijk om een mooi egaal effect te krijgen. De eerste keer dat ik het probeerde was het te donker en vol met vlekken. De tweede keer dat ik het probeerde kan je hieronder zien.

But if you take a closer look you see the golden glow very good. And it’s just too much…. I really don’t know of I’m going to use it that often. Maybe for a fault party I can use it… But it’s just too difficult to bring this even on the skin and the golden glow is a little too much.
Links is zonder en rechts is met een klein laagje. Ok, je ziet duidelijk dat het een meer zomers effect geeft. Maar als ik dichterbij ging kijken zag ik de gouden glow enorm goed. En het is gewoon iets te veel… Ik weet ook niet of ik dit zo vaak ga gebruiken. Misschien voor een foute party is het leuk. Maar het is gewoon te moeilijk om dit product gelijk aan te brengen op de huid en de gouden glow is iets te overdreven.
Matt blotting paper // €1,99
In the summer my skin glows too much. So mattiying paper is the perfect solution. It absorbs the excess sebum and makes your skin perfectly matt. The packaging is lightweight and easy to take with you. The sheets come off one by one. And one is enough for one time using. And yes, they work! These absorb the oil directly and my face feels matte and fresh. It also doesn’t take off you makeup so that’s also very handy! So yes, I’m fan from these handy papers!
In de zomer glanst mijn huid altijd iets meer. Dus dan is mattiying papier de perfecte oplossing. Dit absorbeert alle overbodige talk en maakt je huid perfect mat. De verpakking hiervan is zeer licht en makkelijk om mee te nemen. De papiertjes komen er één voor één uit. En met eentje kom je toe voor één keer gebruik. En ja, deze werken echt! Ze absorberen het teveel aan olie en maken mijn huid enorm mat en lekker fris. Het neemt er gelukkig geen make up mee af, dus dat is ook zeer handig! Dus ja, ik ben fan van deze handige papiertjes!
This collection gives you the insta summer feeling! I’m a huge fan from the matt blotting paper and the lip conditioner.But the airbrush bronze is a no go for me! Maybe it will look better on you if you have a darker skin type. But for me with my almost snow white skin it’s nothing!
Deze collectie geef je direct een insta summer feeling! Ik ben zelf enorm fan van matt blotting paper en de lip conditioner. Maar de airbrush bronze is toch helemaal niets voor mij! Misschien staat het iemand met een donkerder huidtype beter. Maar voor mij met mijn bijna sneeuwwit huidje is het echt helemaal niets!
