Essence // LE the little x-mas factory
And yes finally another article about limited edition products! And as you maybe already know I’m visiting the drugstore very often. So when the new LE products are in the shop then I buy and review them as soon as possible. And this time I’ve got a review about the lovely Christmas collection: the little x-mas factory from Essence. I also saw the Christmas collection from catrice, but the collection from essence directly got my attention. And Essence is also more budgetproof 😉 This Christmas collection as a perfume, eyeliner, hand cream, nail polish, highlighter, hair brush, lip tint, nail stickers, lip balm, eyeshadow palette, concealer and a contouring palette. I bought the perfume, eyeliner, highlighter and hand cream!
Jaaa, eindelijk terug een artikel over limited edition producten! En zoals je misschien al weet breng ik zeer vaak een bezoekje aan het kruidvat. Dus wanneer de nieuwe LE producten te koop zijn koop en review ik deze zo snel als ik kan. En deze keer heb ik voor jullie een review van de schattige kerstcollectie: the little x-mas factory van essence. Ik zag ook de kerstcollectie van catrice, maar deze keer kreeg die van essence toch al mijn aandacht! En essence is ook meer budgetproef. 😉 Deze kerstcollectie heeft een parfum, eyeliner, handcrème, nagellak, highlighter, kam, lip tint, nagelstickers, lippenbalsem, oogschaduw palette, concealer en een contouring palette. Ik kocht zelf de parfum, eyeliner, highlighter en de handcrème.
Eyeliner // ho-ho-ho // €2,79
A golden eyeliner was an item that was on my wishlist! So I was so excited to try this one. And for an essence product the packing looks really good. The eyeliner also has an easy brush to apply your eyeliner as small or as thick you want! But the most important thing… How it the pigmentation? The pigmentation is good but not wow. It’s a lovely eyeliner to experiment with or to give your smokey eyes or… look something extra. But if you only use the eyeliner, then the effect is not as special as I hoped. But when I used the eyeliner under my eye, then I loved it! It’s maybe not as special as I hoped, but despite that is this eyeliner nice to give your look something extra.
Een gouden eyeliner was een item dat al een tijdje op mijn wishlist stond! Dus ik was enorm benieuwd om deze te proberen. En voor een product van essence vind ik de verpakking enorm elegant en mooi. De eyeliner zelf heeft een makkelijk en dun kwastje. Maar het belangrijkste is natuurlijk… Hoe is het pigment hiervan? De pigmentatie is goed maar niet wauw. Het is een geweldige eyeliner om mee te experimenteren of om je smokey eyes of… net dat extraatje te geven. Maar als je enkel de eyeliner gebruikt is het resultaat jammer genoeg niet zo speciaal als ik gehoopt had. Maar ik gebruikte de eyeliner ook onder mijn oog en dan vond ik het wel leuk! Het is misschien niet zo speciaal als ik gehoopt had maar ondanks dat is de eyeliner leuk om je look iets speciaal te geven.
Shimmering stars // 01 please, hurry down the chimney! // €3,49
The shimmering stars directly got my attention! I really love the packing and how the stars look! But unfortunately the pigmentation is not that good if you want to apply it with your make-up brush… But if you directly use a shimmering star on your skin then is the pigmentation is good. Ok, the idea is nice but the pigmentation is not so good…
De shimmering stars trokken direct mijn aandacht! Ik was direct dol op de verpakking en de vormgegeven van de sterren. Maar jammer genoeg is de pigmentatie toch niet zo goed als je het wilt aanbrengen met een make-up kwast… Maar als je de shimmering stars zelf zo gebruikt op je huid, dan is de pigmentatie wel goed! Ok, het idee is enorm leuk maar de pigmentatie is jammer wat minder…
Hand cream // 02… and mistletoe kisses // €1,49 // 25ml
The hand cream was there in two smells. I choose the one with the cookie scent namely; 02… and mistletoe kisses. The hand cream make my hands feel very soft! And the smell… I love it! It’s a spicy smell and it indeed smells a bit like cookies! I’m in love with this product! The packing is perfect for in your purse, the hand cream itself is also good and the smell is just heaven! Yaah, good job essence for a not make-up item!
De handcrème was er in twee geuren. Maar ik koos degene met koekjes geur namelijk; 02… and mistletoe kisses. De handcrème trekt snel in en laat mijn handen lekker zacht aanvoelen! En die geur… Ik hou er van! Het is in het begin een beetje een kruidige kerstgeur, maar na een paar minuten ruiken je handen inderdaad heerlijk naar kerstkoekjes! Ik ben dol op dit product! De verpakking is handig om mee te nemen, de handcrème zelf is enorm goed en de geur is hemels! Yaah, super essence en dit voor een niet make-up product!
Essence eau de toilette // 01 it’s magic // €4,99 // 30ml
At first sight I wasn’t interested in the perfume. But when I tested the perfume, I was directly sold! It smells heavenly! If Christmas has a smell it would be for sure this! It’s also a bit a sweet perfume! Yes, I’m fan! And this is for sure my new everyday perfume!
Op het eerste zicht was ik niet echt geïnteresseerd in de parfum. Maar wanneer ik deze probeerde, was ik direct verkocht! De geur is echt zo goed! En als kerst een geur zou hebben, dan zou dit het zeker zijn! Het is een beetje een zoete maar heerlijke geur dat ook de hele dag blijft hangen. Ja, ik ben fan! En dit word zeker en vast mijn nieuwe parfum voor elke dag!
The Christmas collection from essence is for sure worth it! Ok, the pigmentation of the highlighter is not so good. But I love how it looks! And the rest of the collection is a big ‘yaay’ for me! This collection is also the perfect idea for a Christmas gift!
De kerst collectie van essence is zeker de moeite! Ok, de pigmentatie van de hightlighter is niet zo heel goed. Maar ik vind het er wel leuk uitzien! En de rest van de collectie is wel top! Het is ook echt het perfecte idee om met kerst cadeau te geven!Set featured image
