When I bought this w7 eye shadow palette a while back at the ‘Estetica fair’ (when it still was possible, so that’s a long time ago. 😉 ) , but it was love at first side with this palette. But this palette laid for too long unused in my make-up stash. But a while ago I rediscovered this palette. And this palette with warm colors is also described as a dupe from this famous Modern Renaissance palette from Anastasia. Unfortunately, I don’t have that palette, but when I looked it up the similarities were striking. So time to tell you everything about this palette.
I did a little reaches because I didn’t know much about w7… But I came till the conclusion that w7 is famous because of their budget proof dupes. So this palette isn’t the only one dupe they have. I’m pretty sure that I’m going to have a look at all the w7 products. Because after this palette I’m very curious about their other products.
This palette contains a brush with 2 different sides. A side to apply eyeshadow and one to blend. There is also a mirror inside this palette, and that’s always handy.
The eyeshadows are all warm colors and you have matt and shimmering shades inside this palette. The eyeshadows are very soft and some are a bit grainy when you apply them. So be sure to watch out that you don’t take too much powder. The pigmentation surprised me. Especially the darker colors are fantastic. Only the first nude shades, you barely see. But I find these perfect as a base. I made the swatches with 1 layer and without an eyeshadow basis. So that’s for sure not bad!
With these colors, you can make a nude and more extreme look. All the colors fit perfectly with each other. You can create a lot of looks with this palette! The colors are easy to apply and blend. But some colors are grainy and powdery and have some fallout. That’s the only negative thing about this palette. Because it’s for sure an amazing palette with pretty colors.
Or this is a good dupe from the Anastasia palette I don’t know. But all with all I find this a nice palette. The colors are pretty and suit perfect with each other. It’s a nice palette because you can do so much with it, you can create a neutral or more extreme look. The quality is also quite nice expect some fallout. So this is for sure a nice palette, that I’m using with much pleasure.
Price: the w7 delicious natural & berry palette cost €12,95.
