Finding a good mattifying powder is always hard. But finding a good foundation that matched your skin is harder… So I’m always trying new foundation and powder. Because maybe I will find a match… And to be honest this is the third time that I bought this powder. So I can all ready tell you that the powder is a favorite! But this review is not only about the fixing compact powder from essence but also about the oil-free make-up foundation.
Een goede matterende poeder vinden is altijd moeilijk. Maar een foundation vinden dat je huidtint match is nog moeilijker… Dus ik probeer altijd een nieuwe foundation en poeder. Want wie weet vind ik wel de perfect match… En om eerlijk te zijn is dit al de 3de keer dat ik dit poeder opnieuw koop. Dus ik kan alvast zeggen dat deze poeder een favoriet is! Maar deze review is niet enkel over de fixing compact powder van essence maar ook over de oil-free make-up foundation.
First I will tell you my opinion about the foundation. I got the lightest color namely 05 matt vanilla. For my light skin this one is a little dark. It has a yellow undertone. But I’m wearing it every day because you can barley see that it’s too dark for my skin. For me the best way to bring the foundation on my skin is with a stippling brush. This gives me a natural resulted. The foundation is indeed long lasting for 10 till 12h. It lets feel my skin soft and covered my redness. So definitely worth it!
Eerst ga ik mijn mening zeker over de foundation. Ik heb de lichtste kleur namelijk 05 matt vanilla. Maar voor mijn lichte huid is deze toch een beetje te donker… Deze heeft een gele ondertoon. Maar toch draag ik deze bijna elke dag want je kan het amper zien dat deze te donker is voor mijn huid. De beste manier om deze foundation aan te brengen is voor mij met een stippling brush. Dit geeft namelijke een natuurlijk resultaat. De foundation is inderdaad long lasting. Deze blijft goed zitten op mijn huid voor zo’n 10 tot 12h. Het laat men huid ook zacht aanvoelen en verbergt ook al men rode plekjes in mijn gezicht. Dus zeker het proberen waart!
After using foundation I always use powder that my skin stays matt and my makeup stays on his place. And this one from essence is a favorite from my. It’s the third time that I bought it. So I’m very enthusiast about this powder! It makes my skin matt and thanks to this powder my foundation stays on his place. Also the powder makes my skin feel soft. But unfortunately there is one negative point…. When you skin is dry and you use this product you see everything… So every skin flake you can see. So if you skin is dry then I don’t recommend this powder! But for the rest is this one great and budget proof!
Nadat ik foundation heb gebruikt, doe ik altijd poeder op zodat mijn huid mat blijft. En deze van essence is een favoriet van mij! Het is de 3de keer dat ik deze kocht. Dus ik ben erg enthousiast over dit product! Het maakt mijn huid mat, laat mijn foundation op zijn plaats zitten en laat mijn huid ook zacht aanvoelen. Maar jammer genoeg is er één negatief punt… Wanneer je een droge huid hebt laat dit product alles opvallen… Dus elke droogte of elke velletje valt extra op. Dus daarmee dat ik deze niet aanraad als je een droge of gevoelig huid hebt! Maar voor de rest is de poeder erg fijn en budget proef!

Of course a pic without foundation, with foundation and with foundation and powder. So like you can see on the picture without foundation my skin is very red. And when I wear the foundation it covers at the “imperfections” like my red skin, pimples,… The powder makes me skin directly matt.
Natuurlijk ook een foto van zonder foundation, met foundation en natuurlijk met foundation en poeder. Zoals je kan zien op de foto zonder iets op is mijn huid erg rood. Maar wanneer ik de foundation draag worden al deze imperfecties zoals roodheid, puistjes,… verborgen. En op de 3de foto zie je dat het poeder men huid direct mat maakt.
The foundation is maybe a little dark for my skin. But I think that the color will be a perfect match when I did some sunbathing. Because for the rest the both products are fantastic! And the best part is the price very budget! Love it! But I don’t recommend the powder when your skin is sensitive or dry.

De foundation is misschien een beetje te donker voor mijn huid. Maar ik denk dat de kleur een perfecte match gaat zijn wanneer ik iets bruiner ben. Maar voor de rest zijn de producten fantastisch! En het beste is de lage prijs! Love it! Enkel de poeder is geen aanrader wanneer je huid gevoelig of droog is.
