Charlie’s angels (2019)
The newest Charlie’s angels movie is since recent in the theaters! I was one of the lucky people that could watch this movie during a private screening (omg!). So are you curious about what you can expect from this movie and what I thought about it? (No spoilers I promise!) Because after the Holidays you might need some time to relax…
This movie is directed by Elizabeth Banks. And she also played a role in this movie! That’s real girl power! The angels are played by Naomi Scott, Ella Balinska & Kristen Stewart. And I already can tell you that they choose the cast very wisely!
This is the short description of the movie according to sony pictures:
Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott & Ella Balinska play 3 smart, fearlessly, well-educated women that protect the safety of their customers. Now that Townsend Agency is ready for for international expansion, the Angels stand for a hard task. When a young engineer creates a dangerous technology, they call for help from the Angels. They risk their lives in order to save the world.
What I thought about this movie:
To be honest, I really didn’t know what I could expect from this movie, this was because I only found negative reviews online… But with an open mind, I went and watched this movie. And I really don’t get why there are so many negative reviews about this movie! Because I really loved it! It’s a movie filled with action and girl power! The cast really nailed it, I enjoyed every second from this movie! You can expect a lot of girl power that gives fireworks and some (unexpected) surprising plots! It’s a movie I wanna see again for sure! But on the other hand I can understand the ‘negative reviews’ that it looks a bit like a forces remake. But for a moment if you don’t think about the earlier Charlies angels and you forget about that, then is this an amazing movie! You can’t compare the two movies together, but if I really have to, then I would say that this one is a more youthful version with humor. But I loved the movie! This one is really worth watching if you keep an open mind!
So definitely be open-minded for this movie, because if you are I’m sure you will love it! (I hope so, because I really enjoyed this movie! 🙂 )
